Wester Ross is a photographer's dream location. From rugged mountains to white sweeping beaches and a landscape that is ever changing, it's a magical place to take your camera. Wester Ross is where majestic mountains reach to the sky, waterfalls cascade down into the many lochs, and the remains of a bygone age. Tumbled down buildings and red roofed croft houses showing the cultural heritage of an area steeped in history portrayed in the land. Where huge skies that light up the land and clear night skies are lit up with the Milky Way, and the spectacular Northern Lights. Certain times of the year provoke different experiences that can be captured on your camera. The constant changing light and variable weather adds to the this wild landscape. Come and find out for yourself and leave with new knowledge and captured memories encapsulated in your photographs.
'One to one' tuition courses are designed and tailored to your specific needs and level of ability. These relaxed workshops help you understand your camera more and help you make the most of your kit. You will be able to use my kit as well if you don’t have full frame wide angle lenses.
Each workshop will be different to accommodate your personal requirements. I'll teach you all that you want to learn, it could be mastering the use of filters or how to take long exposures. We will explore the different skills it requires to take landscape photographs, incorporating the time of day and light available. Or, in winter you may want to learn how to take night sky photographs and experience taking photos of the Aurora Borealis.
We can either meet at a specific location or I can collect you from your accommodation. Details of the day can be finalised via further correspondence. As these are bespoke workshop days, I will be working around you and the locations you would prefer in Wester Ross.
This kind of bespoke personal tuition guarantees that you will have my undivided attention. However, I will take up to three people if you would prefer to share the experience with friends or family. You can expect a friendly and relaxed approach to ensure that you get the most out of the day.
